About Us - Our Story
It started with wool: a natural resource, an old shepherd’s observation, and dogs who know comfort when they feel it.
Before it became a bed, wool was already a place to rest.
Wool is not a trend for us. It is where the story began.
For generations, shepherds have worked with a material that is natural, abundant and quietly useful. Freshly shorn wool is warm, breathable and familiar — and many dogs seem to understand that without explanation. Around sheep, barns and working life, dogs have often chosen wool as a place to settle, curl up and rest.
That observation stayed with us.
What if a dog bed did not start with foam, plastic filling or seasonal design — but with a natural resource dogs already respond to?
Helen Wells was created from that idea: to build better resting places from wool and sheepskin. Pure wool beds, soft comfort layers and our Sheep Donut hero all follow the same principle — a place that feels steady, breathable and naturally comforting.
