Caring for your TWEED PRODUCTS

Tweed is a traditional product made from wool. It is a noble knot fabric with a rough feel.
We use upholstery fabrics, which can withstand more significant stress, but still you should consider washing as little as possible.
If mud or obvious dirt is present let it dry and brush of as best you can with a stuff clothes brush.

Tweed - Washing & Drying

  • in general: treat stains immediately and do not let them dry first
  • turn tweed fabrics inside out (where possible)
  • wash on delicate cycle (or wool cycle or hand wash cycle)
  • cold or low temperature (max. 30°)
  • no spin
  • no tumble dryer
  • dry flat
  • use mild detergent (for wool & silk)
  • no use of softener
